Types of polymer coatings of sandwich panels

Polymeric coatings used as protective layer in the manufacture of sandwich panels

Galvanized steel sheet in itself is quite strong, but vulnerable to external atmospheric influences, the material. To enhance the strength and neutrality of the material, to protect him from the influence of adverse factors, using the technology application of polymer compositions (one or several layers) on the outside of the metal panel.

Polymer composition does not spoil the time suitable for all climatic zones, has a high protective properties, makes the surface of metal sheet is perfectly flat and smooth. Thickness of coating can be different - from 10 to 30 mm.

Polyester (PE)

Coverage is one of the most common polymers for galvanized steel sheet. Material suitable for all climatic zones. Thickness of coating is 25 - 30 mm, resistant to mechanical and atmospheric influences. It has high color and plasticity. Recommended for both internal and external surfaces of wall panels, if the building is not in terms of increased pollution.

"Purana" or "Armacor"

Chemically resistant composite material. Apply in areas with sharp fluctuations in temperature. By enriching the source material stabilizing additives acquired properties hydrophobicity, immunity to the effects of ultraviolet rays. Material protects against corrosion and mechanical damage. Used as protective coating in the manufacture of wall and roof sandwich panels.

Polivinldiftorid (PVF 2/PVDF)

It has the highest anticorrosive properties of all types of polymer protective coatings. Gives a glossy surface appearance, does not fade and does not lose the appearance over time. Roof and wall sandwich panels coated DFM used in construction in areas with a maritime climate, as well as the material is securely protected from the devastating effects of wet steam with a high content of salt. Coating thickness - 25 microns.

Plastisols

Polymer-based polivinlhlorida. The thickness of the layer is significantly greater than that of other polymers - 200 microns, which makes it resistant to a significant effect on the mechanical stress. At the same time, the material is destroyed at a temperature and in areas with traditionally low temperatures, exposed to the ravages of sunlight, which limits the scope of use. The decorative quality of the material are the best among all-acrylic polymer compositions.
